Fumoto?

I see several good post about the " Fumoto F106N Quick Oil Drain Valve M14-1.5 Threads with Nipple " does anyone have any negative issues?

Since I have not installed mine yet I can only say that during my research on them I could only find hypothetical concerns. I found no documented issues of leaks or them being knocked off a oil pan.

Only bad thing with one on my MH. Is I have to store someplace 4 empty 1 gal containers between oil changes. For the next use. And remember where I put the hose for it.

I just ordered mine and hope it is as good as it looks. My drain location is right over the axe and makes for a real mess when simply pulling the plug...

I'm hoping with this valve I can change my oil on Walmart lot with out making a mess any more!!!

That's exactly why I ordered one. It does appear to be a quality product, I will find out in a couple weeks. (didn't change the oil at the end of last season, so doing it twice this year)

They work, and work well. Have one on our Lexi, 2 Subaru's, and every veh I've had in the past 10 years.
No issues, have never had one "open" on its own, or had one "hit" by something.

The Ford chassis class C we had did the same thing. The Fumoto will solve that problem. A piece of tubing and small worm gear clamp then you can feed the oil right into a container. It is slow going though.

Never knew about them then but we installed one on our DP and it has been great. The rear axle sits lower and is ahead of it so not much worry about it getting hit. It has never opened by itself or leaked at all.

I put a Fumoto F107 on my F250 truck years ago and have not had any problems at all. I choose to get the one without the nipple because I drain the oil into a large catch pan and then pour it back into the jugs later. Usually, the only oil I get on my hands now is when I dab my finger in it to lube the new filter gasket.

After I bought my motorhome a couple of months ago I changed the oil/filter and wondered about getting one for it also. And guess what...the 8.1L takes the same F107 as my truck. Only this time I will get the one with the nipple because the drain is almost directly above the axle.

I have had one on my GMC Duramax for 4 years now, no problems. Before I had it, I had to remove the skid plate to change oil so it didn't get filled with oil, now oil changes are a snap. It takes a little longer, about the amount of time it takes to change the filter. Also, if you send your oil out for analysis, it makes it easier to get a sample.

I'm on Fumoto's website right now. For a 2001 Ford V-10 F450 (6.7l), it says valve F106N. My MH is a 2001, but built in 2000. Probably doesn't matter, but I thought my motor was bigger than 6.7l. Anyone know if this is the right one, or how to confirm it?

Timely post. I just picked up my oil/filter yesterday and you reminded me of something I'd been meaning to do. I just ordered one myself.
These are great valves. I installed one on my '09 Toyota FJ Cruiser 6 years ago and it has worked flawlessly. They should work out really well on these F53 chassis because of the location of the oil pan drain relative to the front axle. I looked like a monkey chasing a football my first oil change on this MH. I have to use my large drain pan because of the volume of old oil and trying to wedge it in and balance it on top of the axle... well suffice it to say it's hairy.

You forgot about the 20lb bag of kitty litter to clean up the mess.

The only drawback I have found is that it is slow to drain on my CTD but the coach has a much bigger opening so it should be relatively faster but with 34 qts it is still going to take a while.
