It was very chilly riding my motorbike to work today. It must have gotten down to almost 50 degrees while 2 days ago it was 80.

No -28 degree days like we had where I grew up.

I had a motorhome that sat for 5 years with a full tank of gas that started right up and drove off with its new owner without a problem. No additives were ever added to the tank during storage and the gas cap was never removed, so no air was introduced into the tank.

Stabil - great for "sitting" gas. I use that in my motor home for storage (as well as other small engines)

Lucas/BG 44k for keeping fuel system in top condition

Yea, that's pretty good. It must have been saved due to a lack of air. Personally, I wouldn't take that chance.

We run our RV often enough that it doesn't need stabilizer.

On cars that sit, I use stabilizer (stabil).

On other things that sit - lawn mowers, weed eaters, chain saws, I got tired of replacing carb lines and bulbs due to ethanol. I now run 100LL (no ethanol) in them from the local airport. Costs a bit more, but cheaper than having them serviced or spending my time chasing down issues. Note, this cannot be used in EFI vehicles.. Or legally on anything that goes on the street.
