Ok, right after I posted this, I got a service recall on the gear selector cable, I scheduled it and brought it in a week later. They fixed it, now it's right, but they did the best job they could in getting grease all over my driver area carpet. I know dealer techs don't care, so I put moving blankets all over the walking areas and front drivers area. They still made a mess, I had to call a carpet guy out with his truck and it took him a while to get it cleaned up. Stay away from Larry H. Miller Ford in Salt Lake Utah if you can. Service advisor Tim P. has to be medicated, he was terrible.

That's unfortunate.....a complaint to Ford seems in order and a discusssion with the GM of that dealer. You should not have to clean up their mess. I had the recall done at a local Ford dealer....Borman's and they were great, they even have a couple of RV hookups...

When I was at the dealer, I complained to the service advisor (Tim), and he put me in touch with the GM, he was out. I left him a message, and never heard back, I even sent him pictures via email, no response. nothing. Just amazing.

Do these people understand something simple like this gets around, word of mouth (and internet) like this spreads like crazy and they loose business? That's fine, whatever. Will take by money elsewhere.

Larry H. Miller Ford in Salt Lake - please avoid at any costs.
