Gray plug for what?

This gray plug with five prongs ( six holes ) is under the left side of my dash in my 07 Ford f53 v 10 chassis.

Anyone know what it's for? I'm thinking something for a toad/ trailer braking system.

I think you are right.

But you need to buy the other end at any trailer store. It looks like the one below.
Then you wire it into the brake controller. This plug is only for the electric brakes.



Wire colors may differ./

Yes, that's the plug for the trailerbrake controller. You need the '99-04 F250-350 harness.

I found a prewired harness for my Tekonsha brake controller that already had both connectors installed so all you had to do was plug it up to the gray connector and the controller.
