Just upgraded to a full Banks kit with TransCommand. I've noticed an improvement in performance but not the kick in the tail I expected. I know it's possible, with a minor mod, to install a performance chip. I've played with these on cars before with some success. I was wondering if anyone here has chipped their 460 and, if so, with what results.

most 460 are not obdII so the old system has few options or not worth it....

I have uncorked exhaust, K&N, larger throttle plate, almpst 3 degrees extra timing, adj fuel reg added 2 lb..

I was going to play with a Tweek reader but IMO it aint worth it..

not sure if yo can go mass air on a 460

There exists a Quarterhorse setup for OBDI that you can do a lot of stuff with. I looked at it a bit and figured no way I had time for all that, I'm eyeball deep in too many projects already.
Apparently in the last year or so of the 460's that were sold in California had air mass setups in pickups and vans. These parts are now prized by truck guys in the rest of the country and tend to not be cheap, considering they are essentially just old truck parts.
I'd like to see if someone has done some of this stuff on a motorhome myself. Just in case I might be missing out.

I have a TwEECer on my 460/528 stroker. It plugs into the J3 port on the EEC-IV. Writing the tune is very involved and and instruction manuals are almost nonexistent. I paid the inventor of the TwEECer to write my tune.

Tweecer i may revisit...

If you have a minute, PM of the details on the stroker,,, curious, i have done one specific build for a Heavy rig... and it worked well..

I dont want to derail this thread..
