Looking at the front of the carb top where choke mounts it will be 76xx a 600 CDMA is small maybe 7679 or 7680 that would be a 750 or 800

Your going to need every number you can find on that carb, before you can even think about buying another one or getting some help to find out which it is.

More than likely it is a 600CFM Motorcraft carb & you'll need a replacement as perfect a match to the one on the engine as you can get. You could get a 600 Holley to go back on, but it being a perfect match to what your taking off would be a long shot.

Go over to http://www.460ford.con & ask over there, them guys know a 460 Ford big block from one end to the other.

Why not have the original carb professionally rebuilt? You will have the right carb of the right CFM with the right jetting.
I've been down the replacement and off-the-shelf "rebuilt" carb path too many times over the years and it isn't worth it. You don't know what you will end up with and how much adjusting and jet changes, etc to get it to perform properly.
Just my 2 cents . . .

If you do not have emission testing in Costa Rica you can replace with an off the shelf Holley 750 cfm carb. Just insure vacuum secondary's. They all come with ford linkage and need to be converted for Chevy. You can get one from internet speed shops like Summit racing or Jeggs.

Nicks right, in all my years with grease on my hands, I've never seen a straight out of the box carb work right, will be some adjusting before it is bolt on.
I'll 2X the "rebuild" the one on the engine first,,,,, by a mechanic knows what they are doing.
Keep in mind as well, larger you go in the CFM on a carb, higher rpm range your trying to make it operate, so about a 650 should be right for the job that 460 engine has to do.
