House battery charging question

I own a 1990 30 ft REXHALL AIREX RV with a 460 V8 engine. All batteries are new, clean and full of water. House batteries do not receive power from engine alternator. How does this system work, selanoid or battery isolator or ? If so, where might it be located. Thanks i advance for any information you could offer

Most of the house batteries I have known are charged thru a converter when plugged into an external power source. Or you can charge them individually by placing each on a charger. This seems to be much quicker, doing it this way. Be sure to check the battery water at least once every 3 months. And remove the battery caps if using a lead acid battery. If a battery is charged via the converter and runs out of battery water, it will explode.

If you have 2 batteries in parallel just disconnect the twin cables and charge separately.

Hope this helps
