What would be considered "normal running temperature" for a 99 Ford V10. At what temp. would the engine be getting hot? I have a Scangauge 2 and the engine is running between 196 degrees and the hottest its been is 209 degrees. The normal temp. is 198 degrees on a 90 degree California day on a flat road.
Thanks!

That is a perfect operating range depending on speed and engine load. Hot would be over 230.

Mine runs up to 225 pulling a Jeep Wrangler and has gone as high as 235 on the Scan gauge II. The water temp gauge though never get to half way.
