Hi, after venting my disappointment with the AWM 970 Jensen radio in my new 2011 31E Sightseer (no ipod input) Jensen has agreed to replace the AWM 970 with a AWM 975 (with ipod input updated). My question is how do you remove the bezel around the radio to get at the screws to remove the radio without damaging the bezel. Please no screwdrivers, putty knifes etc suggestions. Tried them all in the past and have allot of damaged parts around the house from using a heavy hand and a weak mind.
Thanks for your help, by the way pretty decent of Jensen to make the offer.
Moe and Jean

Most of the modern radios have a u shaped tool that is plugged into the front of the radio. This releases the lock and lets you pull the radio straight out. There should be one with your RV. If not, you will get one with the new radio.

Yes that is true for most car radio installations but this radio is what they call a "wall mount" for RV's. You have to remove the bezel from around the radio which is part of the dash manufactured by Winnebago, then remove four screws that hold the radio in. I would like to hear from anyone who has removed this bezel. My MH is a 2011 Sightseer

Thanks, Moe

Usually the benzel just snaps on.. Take a look at the replacement or download the install manual from the manufacturer's web page.

In a very few rare cases it might be attached with a screw from the rear.

Usually only fingers are needed to remove. Though again in some cases a special tool (Which often resembles a putty knife) may be needed to depress a spring latch.
