A faulty cellphone charger has taken out my accessory sockets in the dash of my 2008 Hurricane 30Q. All fuses under the dinette are fine as are all the fuses in the black box to the far right under the hood.
There is a fuse panel to the far left under the dash and another in the centre under the hood.
I have emailed FourWinds and they replied saying the query had been sent to the relevant person, but no reply so far.
I don't need the cigarette lighter sockets but the fuse also feeds the OBD power and I don't like to travel without the SGII functional.
I was lead to believe by a post I read somewhere that the fuse is in that centre panel under the hood, but I can't get the thing open. Anyone actually opened this thing?
Later today I will reluctantly contort myself into a question mark and try all of the fuses in that panel to left under the dash. But I just know it's not going to be in there.
Anyone done this on a Hurricane or other MH on a 2007-2008 F53 Chassis?
Ken

Ken, Not sure if this will help but my cigar lighter is powered from the fuse panel inside the coach. I expect that your situation is similiar. Probe all the fuses with a test lamp and see if you have power on both sides of the fuse. The cigar lighter should be HOT all the times. CIG LTR 20A

Ken, the fuse for our lighter is located in the Intellitec battery control center mounted on left side of firewall under the hood.
Your coach may or may not have the same set up.
Good luck

Ken here is a chassis manual for my 2006 F-53. You ca see the fuse location in here. Should also be in your owners manual.

Good luck,

I've got it sorted out now. The fuse was where the manual says it is and I was eventually able to get the cover off and the fuse replaced.
Thanks to all who responded and esp Shellback1 for the chassis manual which I did not have and which will come in handy in future I am sure.
For those who may encounter this same problem - the centre (underhood) fuse panel which is labeled power distribution centre is locked closed by a tab located on the right side at the lower edge. Although the cover is clearly labeled PULL with arrows indicating direction, the cover lifts outward from the right.
The fuse is #22 and is a MAXI type. Beats me why this coach needs 3 types of fuses in the same amperage.
Anyway all is now well and we are ready for our 13,000 km trek to Newfoundland and back.
