I.C.C. Flash: Aftermarket?

Didn't know where to post this so thought here was as good as anywhere.

Has anyone tried to add an ICC Flash switch to a coach that did not come equiped with one?

Is this doable or just too much work?

I havew often thought of adding one to my coach. It seems easy to do. There is a wire from the headlight switch that controls the "Parking lights". If you cut that wire and add a momentary switch you should be able to flick the switch and effectively break the circuit and shut off the lights.

The momentary switch need to be a Closed switch, meaning when it is not in use the connection is closed.

This would turn them on if off and off if on?

Roll, Joe-K did a thread back in 2003 about adding a ICC switch to his Journey on a Freightliner chassis. He added three relays and they turn the clearance and head lights off if they are on and on if they of off.
I have a hard copy that I have scanned. PM your email and I will send it to you.

Got it thanks Grant.

I see he included both a flash to pass feature and an ICC flash (marker lights) feature. I'll have to sort through it to see what is needed for just the ICC Flash.
Good write up and pics help too.
