Sorry it's been awhile since I've updated this post. I'm am out of the country visiting family and will not be back until the first week in May. The mechanic had the RV running for 30 minutes at a time before I left. I went to pick it up but after getting 30 miles away it died out right as I entered the interstate. I waited 5 minutes and it started again. I got another 5 miles into construction and it died again. I was able to get it off to the side and called the mechanic to come out and check it out. He got it running after a about 30 minutes but I was not risking it to go across the Ohio river and it die on the bridge! So I had him tow it back on his expense. I was leaving in a week to go to Italy for 90 days so I told him to keep it until then and work on it when he had time. (Knowing the winter was going to be harsh in Indiana.)
I recently contacted him again to let him know I was looking into getting it hauled back to VA so my mechanic could check it out and I would have my home back. He said he had a few small things to check if I wanted him to so I told him go ahead but I'm still trying to get it hauled back so I have my home when I get back!
* I do not have the receipt from when I tried to bring it back but from what I remember he changed the spark plugs, fuel relay, oil pressure switch, and fixed the carburetor. When started it was idling rougher than normal but after driving a little while and adding some gas it got a little better.
* Also I will add that the fuel gauge is off now and the smaller tank will not let you put gas in it
...I'm contemplating just parting it/scrapping it/or selling it to someone that has the time and will to fix it. Looking at used travel trailers now.
