Just my luck!

After having just replaced the house batteries in my 1996 Pace Arrow (460), that very same day I stopped at the grocery store for provisions on my way out of town and my unit just barely cranked when I went to start it. It had barely turned it over when I went to get out of storage earlier that day too. So, has anyone had particularly good luck in terms of performance and longevity with the chassis battery. I know there are many options out there, just curious what the masses might have experienced concerning "bang for the buck"!

I bought a used 98 Pace Arrow MH last August that has the Ford 460 engine it. The battery that is currently in it is a Wal*Mart MAXX-34N, it was purchased by the PO in November 2008. I'd say that this battery has served its purpose pretty good considering how little it has been used. I think I only started it 3-4 times this past winter and we had a pretty tough winter in Nebraska (just like a lot of the US). It may have to be replaced this summer?? This battery is rated as 900CA, 770CCA battery; I'd probably consider getting the same battery if I have to replace it.

Well.. My Workhorse is a 2005 and I just "Dropped" (Actually lifted) a new DEKA onto the tray. Give me 10 years to comment, original lasted just over 8 (Aug 2004 was build date on the chassis).
