I put Konis on the front end and drive axel. They don't make a shock for the tag so Bilsteins went on the tag axel. The Konis give an outstanding ride.

After reading these posts, I ordered a set of Monroe's from Stengel Bros. and installed them today on my 22,000lb 2013 chassis. About $56 ea. includes shipping. I didn't think the ride was terrible but knew it could be better from what every one says. Won't have it out to try them until this weekend and will only be a short trip to the lake.
When Ford builds a 22,000lb chassis, they tell you to run 95 lbs. of tire pressure to support the weight the chassis can handle, even if your particular coach doesn't weigh that much. I only need 80 lbs. to support my coach weight. I suspect the Bilstein's that come on the chassis are also designed for the heavier weight that the chassis can handle and is a lot of the reason the ride seems so harsh when the coach doesn't weigh that much.

I put 4 Koni FSDs on our Bounder and it made a world of difference. Smooth, controlled ride - no pogo effect, body roll is really reduced, cracks and expansion joints are smoothed out. Worth the bucks in my book. I run 90# rear and 85# front tire pressures.

Hmmm I always run higher pressures on the front using the charts because of the extra load carrying rear tires.

Yep, very unusual for the rears to need more pressure than the front. Even with our 365/70's on the front and tag and 315/80's on the rear we take 105 front and 90 rear and tag is 80 although I keep 5 psi more for safety.

Gas coach vs. Diesel Coach. They are loaded differently.
