Location of VIN on F53

I have an 06 F53 motorhome chassis.......I am re-registering in Nevada and took it to the local DMV for a VIN check prior to reg here.......The "VIN expert" could not find the VIN......So I am sort of stuck...

I had it reg in Calif after buying used in Idaho in 2009 and they found the VIN then but I cannot recall where it was located......I do have the load specs inside a cabinet that has the VIN but that is just taped up there and not good enough for an official VIN check.......

Are they in a consistent location?? I looked under both wheel wells and around the engine but could not fine it anywhere......

The vehicle identification number (VIN) is a 17-digit combination of letters and numbers. The VIN is stamped on a metal tab riveted to the left-hand vertical radiator support. The VIN number is also found on the vehicle certification (VC) label.

I found this in the Work shop manual.

James--

Thanks for the info......I found it finally.....I had looked in that vicinity and could not find it...I finally found it behind a large wire bundle that was tied to a support and it was hidden behind that.....
