I have a 2006 Fleetwood motorhome with a Ford chassis with a 6.8L V10 engine. It loves gasoline. I want to install a ScanGauge II on it but I cannot locate the the OBDII connector.
It has to have one somewhere I just can't locate it.
Any ideas where I should be looking?

It may have changed since 1999 but look to the right on the brake peddle arm about 15 inches up from the floor. It has a black cover over it.

Ron,
I have looked almost everywhere under the dash on the driver side of the cab. I even called my Ford dealer and he said it is on the driver side and it has a black cover over it. Same as you Ron
Maybe I will I should take a trip to the dealer and have them point to it and say "It looks just like that!" I thought it would be very hard to miss it.
I'll take another look after dinner.

Thanks Ron,
Marty

As RonTon mentioned location may have changed, but on our 2000 it's located high up on the right hand side of the steering column with a black plastic cap. Rather hard to see but a small bundle of wires terminates at it's base.

Good Hunting, Jim

Marty M,mine was bolted to the right side of the steering column. I took it loose, pulled it down and bolted it to the bottom of the dash, now its easy to plug the gauge into.

Ditto here -- right hand side of the column. It's a chore to find it. You;ll like the scanguage... it really helped me alter my driving style(slower) to optimize mpg

Mine is bolted to right side of steering column. Hooked Scan Gauge II to connector and left OBD connector bolted to steering column. That way, both connectors are secured in an out of the way location.
