We will be driving our MH to Texas in about a month to live there. It's in the shop till' tomorrow. Doing brakes, oil and lube, rear end axle seal, chassis a/c, and all new tires, They are checking out the trans (F53 chassis). We will be towing a 16 foot open trailer with our "stuff" on it, including my hovercraft. Is there anything else I should do before a 2500 mile trip? Just trying to avoid trouble on the road.

Looks like you have most things covered. I would probably flush the radiator and check the belts.

John's got it right except he forgot about the Radiator hoses.

Only other thing you might evaluate is tire age and condition.

Good luck and have a safe trip.

Add a brake fluid flush while their doing the brakes, transmission fluid change, repack the front wheel bearings, check the power steering system, change the differential lube, inspect the sway bar links/bushings and inspect the drive shaft along with the hanger bearings.

Thanks, great info.
They are flushing the rad, and all tires will be new. I personally greased the drive shaft and front end. The last thing I have to do is remove the roof and replace the whole thing, but I am going to wait till' we get to Texas, time is short. The roof a/c is off, and I think I will mount it in the master BR for now, that part of the roof is OK. The living room area roof it tender, and needs to be fixed before the AC goes back there.
