While troubleshooting my Hydro-Max brake system I found the reason the brakes do not work when the motor is not running. The Hydro-Max controller which is located behind the dash is missing. I went to a Ford dealer which specializes in trucks and they were unable to locate a part number for the control board. It is made by Bosch but the dealer can't identify the part number. Does anyone know it's part number or refer me to someone who might know it?

Would you think that the brake system would be control by ABS BRAKE controller.

No, the Hydro max has a device that fires up an electric booster pump when the ignition is off off on the engine .

If it's a BOSCH, You might check with a Workhorse type. they used BOSCH Hydro Max systems too.
