Tractor Supply has one built into a license plate frame for under 100 bucks. It's wireless.

Got mine at PepBoys for under $70 on sale. The 3.5 inch screen is small but I located it closer to me off the top of the dash on a extended small shelf. Can't see much detail but I'm looking for major problems such as flat tires, loose straps, trailer/car still there only. My RV is 33' long so I mounted the wireless camera on the back window so it has line of sight to the screen on the right side of the dash.

This is a very good/reliable supplier of 'wired' cam systems...

There was a vendor on eBay selling a color back-up camera for about $32.00. Don't know anything about it and haven't looked for his ad for a while. I was interested in getting one for guiding my rig into a very tight storage location, but my system is monochrome.

Hey Fiesta, can you send me a picture of that? I'd like to see it. I am only 32' but thinking about one too.

Thanks!

I have the camera from autozone on my pickup. And my class A came equipped with a camera. Autozone camera first. The autozone camera is wireless, easy to install, and has a color monitor. It is useful for verifying the occupancy of the blind spot behind me. The camera is a fish eye type lens. Meaning I can see if 'something' is there but distant to object is difficult to judge. It's marginally useful when backing to hook up a trailer. The tongue of the trailer is way back there and then all of a sudden you're on top of it. I like the camera but for me it's only real usefulness is to see 'if something is behind me'. And...the monitor is small. I have to put on my reading glasses and lean forward toward monitor for details. This 'fish eye' effect and small monitor makes this camera good for about three feet. The motor home camera has a much larger monitor and is easily viewable from drivers seat. The lens takes in a much larger viewing area behind me with little to no distortion (fish eye). With the push of a button the camera angle can be changed to view down at my tow or slightly up to see the road behind me. I can see a lot of area with good detail to see things such as 'loose straps'. The autozone camera is good for the three feet behind your car but in my opinion would help very little viewing the large area behind an RV. These are just my "views".
