Hello all, I have just aquired a 95 Georgie boy swinger, all was well on the outward leg of our first trip, however when I started the rig to come home I have a messaage that says error on the total mileage part on the speedometer. It was fine the day before, and the speedo still works.
Any one any suggestions please ??

Mick, welcome to our website and forum. We are please to have you join us. I am not a Ford or chasssis expert but you might try checking electrical connections at the back of the dash, ECM and transmision. Maybe some of the Ford and chassis guys can be of more help. I am sure you will enjoy this website. Have a great summer and stay safe. I will put in a short cut to the Ford chassis owners section of the forum futher down the page.

Mick,
I had a problem with my electronic (not digital) speedometer. I disassembled the dash myself, which was fairly easy, and my wife took it to Southern Electronics. They fixed the speedo with a one-day turnaround, and I haven't had any problems since. I highly recommend their services if you still need help. You can call them and talk to the technician, who will probably know right away if he can fix it or not. Good luck! Here is the link to their website:

You need to have the fault codes looked at with a DRB scan tool, speedo is ok.

Welcome to irv2 Mick1574.
I had a 88 GB with a speedometer that would spin around had to place a good ground to chassis to correct from the IP.
Enjoy the forums and do post often.
