Need some input on Cruise Control servo

I took my 2000 coachmen into the shop to fix Dash AC and my cruise control and when I called them back three days later they told me I needed a new Cruise control servo and it would be $600 plus $300 labor and $400 for new Schrader valve and a recharge on my AC system for a total of $1300. I stopped their work right then and it cost me $200 to tell me it was the cruise servo. When I got it home I checked their work and they put my servo back with 3 self tapping screws through the bracket and right into the aluminum body. Very shody work. I did research to find a servo for a 2000 f53 ford chassis and I am coming up empty. My servo has f350 excurtion printed right on it next to the part number. but when I look up the one for that truck it says it won't fit my f53 a search of this forum had a guy that put a f150 truck one in his. My ? is does anyone know if other ones fit our f53 chassis. My search showed that f250-f350 truck would fit the f350 excurtion.

I looked it up using my VIN # and your 2000 year both use the same P/N. Looked up 2001 it has a different P/N. Don't know what the difference is with the 2001. Cost is still high but less then your shop wanted.

Here's a thread that the OP says he replaced his 2000 servo with one from a 1999 - 2004 F150/250 servo.

There's a couple of video's about the cruise control on this page. Not sure if they will help.
