Wanted to buy Timbrens for my motorhome. The pictures below tell the story. My motorhome bottoms out on the bump stops without being overloaded. You can see the new rubber where the bump stops were rubbed against the axle. You can make out where the bump stops hit the axle next to the brake lines. The kit replaces my bump stops and have an even greater diameter than my current bump stops by a lot. I asked Timbren if they could supply a kit placing their product over the springs.. They seem to think my axle was custom made just for me with the brake lines in the way. That's ridiculous. It's a Ford F53 18,000 lb chassis. If any of you have pictures you could post of your Timbrens not hitting the brake lines please do so. I think most people are just not aware of this problem. Why do people believe kits are "engineered" and safe?

If your only worry is the brake line just take it out of the clip and bend it down out of the way. Or buy a new brake line a little longer and put it where you want to run it and bleed the wheel it goes to and you will be set.

Thanks for your interest , I'm not wrong about this and I'm not getting timbrens. They're junk as far as I'm concerned. Dealers who sell them have told me so. Especially, when loaded all the time. I solved the problem without any of these aftermarket gimmicks. I asked for pictures with the timbrens installed and loaded. Anything else is just talk. I'm not going to move brake lines.

Your problem will be solved with new springs or possibly having the current springs re-arched. The Timbrems is just a patch job in your case.
