New to the Forum and a Ford question

I am new to the forum and have already been helped on the motorhome forum but I think I need chassis help. We just picked up our 2001 Georgie Boy Saturday. I am taking it tomorrow to get it Maryland inspected. I am worried it may not pass because the right side turn signals come on (they don't blink) when the brake is applied. It is on a Ford F 53 chassis. Sometimes when it sits for a while with the key removed, you can step on the brake and only the brake light come on. As soon as you turn on the ignition to test the turn signals (they work fine every time) the next time you test the brake lights the right turn signals light up too. Both front and back.
My first thought is to go where the intial wiring starts for the right side turn signals and run new wires to the front and back amber turn signals. I am not sure where it starts or if that would help. Just for info it is also wired for trailering. Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like a bad ground problem or a bad connection at the bulb socket.Check the bulb and the connectors for corrosion and the connectors for burnt wiring. hope this helps.

The Multifunction switch can give you problems as well.

The motorhome passed Md inspection today so I am putting the brake/turn signal problem on hold. Thanks for the replies I may need help again if I try to tackle the repair.

I would fix it soon. Whenever you hit the brake you are sending a signal to other drivers you are turning...especially if you hit the brake several times..
You most likely have a bad connection or corrosion problem.....
