Not sure if this belongs in the Ford or Winnie forum - seems like a gray area.
My Winnie and LWH manual states to operate the levelers and slide panel with the ignition key in the accessory position, however, the panel is not powered until I switch the key to "Run". When I do this, the leveler panel screeches its warning that the panel is activated with the key in Run.
I have reviewed the Winnie electrical diagrams and only see mention of a "Run" and a "Run and accessory" wires coming from the main Ford distribution plug at the fuse panel. I checked the fuses and they are good, however I also checked for 12V at the fuses and there was NONE with the key in the Accessory or Run position.
No normal accessories work in the accessory position - i.e. aux fans, radio, heater switch.
My question is, is this normal operation for the coach, or am I missing something. Does Ford have chassis wire lists on their website.
TIA for any help.
Bill

Bill when I had my Ford Newmars, I put key in access-position and had to press the park brake, not sure if this will help you, in fact levelers wouldn't operate unless you did these two funtions. May be a switch on park brake for the 12 volts.

Same with our 2000 Residency, parking brake must be set before the levelers will work.

The same is true for our 2001 Adventurer.
What the system is actually looking for is a signal from the neutral safety switch that the transmission is in park, and a signal from the parking brake light switch that the parking brake is also on. If either of these switches are out of adjustment the HWH controller will not get the signals and will not allow the jacks to be extended

I think folks are missing the point. I can use my levelers in the ACC or ON key position. Something's up if they only work in the ON position.
Then again it could be a model year to model year thing. Or even a Class C thing. What do you have?

Sorry for the confusion. Thought my rig info would show up in the signature line.
1998 Itasca suncruiser 33 Class A.
Jacks and Slide DO work in the ignition key Run position, but will not work in Accessory. There is no power to the leverer control panel in the Accessory position.
I would think it would work in the Accessory positon because the leveler control panel is screaming when the key is in the Run position, as I expect it should to warn that the jacks are not retracted.
