Overhaul rear sway bar bushings 95 ford F53

I guess I need to inspect mine and maybe plan on replacing them, both front and rear.

Our '99 Chieftain rears are literally gone. Like others. Simply look like someone melted them away with a torch. Dripping down, pieces hanging.

The worse part... is the brown widows hiding in all my nooks and crannies. I dislike spiders, and more so... the widows.

I'm ordering the polys now.

ANYONE have a part number for the end links from Napa?
It sure would be helpful... and quicker then standing at the counter dealing with explanations ... and, hearing the "what engine?" or "is that 2wheel drive, or 4 wheel?"

Skutterdude may also know or have the link bushings available for the F-53 chassis. Worth a call to him.

Just ordered the poly bushings!

AND... did a tranny filter and 14qts of fluid.
I have HWH levelers, and the brace between the two front leveler brackets was in the way to removing the pan. Had to remove one side of brace and loosen the other. Otherwise... peace of cake.

... off to the next maintenance item.

My camper is burried in 3' of snow, but after reading this post I just ordered the front and rear bushings regardless. My camper has 99,000 miles on it so Im sure they need replaced. Spring will be here soon so i can change them.

That a great point. The poly bushings are so far superior to the stock ones that even if your bushings are still there and working any coach will see an improvement by switching to the poly ones.

We have a 2013 chassis and I PMed Skutterdude to see if he made any for that chassis. He told me he didn't but Ford had switched to poly in 2012.
