P0300 OBD code detected

2018 Ford Triton v10. 2300 miles on odometer (yes, brand new MH). Check Engine Lights came on (steady light, no flashing). Later, I read the code; says P0300 (random or multiple misfire). I have read several pf the other threads on this topic, but would like input on two questions that I did not see previously addressed.
Check Engine Light seemed to come on about 60 miles into a trip when the Tow/Haul engine braking kicked in hard when braking on a steep incline. We stopped but since the manual only referred to emissions as likely cause and we were only 250 miles from home in the middle of nowhere, we decided to continue driving. RV is driving fine, great in fact.

My plan is to clear the code and see if the CEL lights again (and under what circumstance) before taking to dealer (bad experiences in the past).

Question 1: Will clearing the code void the warranty?
Question 2: There were 2 codes. Second one indicated "P0300 pd" (pending). What's that actually mean?

No it should not void warranty but make a note of it if you plan on taking it to a garage

Before you clear the code , if not too late , you can look at cylinder specific misfire history with a good scan tool. Freeze frame data can also show the engine data at the time of failure. Sometimes it helps with diagnostics down the road to have this info and see if code sets under similar circumstance.

I haven't cleared the code yet. The scan tool I have is the cheapest one I could find (but still $75 ) and it does not feature cylinder specific misfire or freeze frame I guess I should have been more patient and bought a better one from Amazon...
Thank you!

As someone who has fought this issue for 2 years now, it probably wont have specific cylinder data. It will just keep popping the p0300 and only the p0300

We had a dodge van with that problem and it turned out to be a fuel supply problem if I remember right

maderson, did you ever take it to the dealer? I decided to try to cope with this (at least initially) by myself because Ford dealer wanted to keep it for two days to diagnose—that just reminded me of a scam that Camping World runs. My guess is that after 2 plus days they still wouldn't know what's wrong and I would be no better off.

Actually had CEL problem (don't know the code) on a previous coach and it turned out to be a bad battery.

How did it eventually get diagnosed?
