Ford does not put a part number on any parts so the number you see is an engineering or drawing number and not the part number as they change the part number from time to time.
A part number would have a "Z" in it, with the "F" that is a engineering or drawing number.
To translate the letters F6TZ stands for:
First "F" the decade and F is the 1990's.
Next is the year in the decade the part was first used, F6=1996.
Next the "T" meaning it is used on a truck.
Next the "Z" is a part number and just about any other letter is the engineering or drawing number in your case "F".
Then you have "12A650" and that is the base number of the part. In other words all of the PCM Computes by Ford have this same base number.
The ending letters as in AJA zero the part in to a particular application.
I hope I made this all clear enough.
