I have a 34' class A on a '95 F53 chassis with 95,000 miles. Recently it started making a "poping"sound in the front end area and comes from both left and right sides(not at same time). This generally occurs when a large truck passes or someimes with a slight steering correction. Sounds like possibly deteriated sway bar bushings but I wonder if there might be other possible causes such as ball joints, etc.
Comments appreciated.
Dave

No ball joints on the old F53 chassis. You got King Pins holding the spindles on. You do have a tie rod and a drag link and those are a possibility, but worn sway bar bushings on an older F53 are the #1 suspect.

Crawl under and look a the sway bar bushings, front AND rear. Take a grease gun with you and hit all the grease fittings while you are at it.

With thanks to Bill "Subford" for making this picture available.
