When I gas up, I get kind of bored and so I started pushing on the rear corner of the motor home and noticed how easy it is to wag the rig.
I looked underneath and saw that the front axle has a track bar and an equalizer bar, but the rear axle has no track bar, would one help?

I'd say - YES!
The Ultratrac sure helped tame my F53 beast (2000 30' Landau)

Mine helps mute the effects of gusting cross winds and passing semi's, otherwise you would never know it is there. That is, maybe, unless you pushed sideways on the rear of the coach while fueling up.
I made mine out of scrap steel, misc. bolts, and a couple of 5/8" rod end bearings (~$50). Fashioned it similar to the Super Steer Rear Stabilizer offered by Camping World. If you can weld, drill and tap, it ain't rocket science and you'll save a ton of money.

Would a rear trac bar help... LIkely YES,, What one to buy
Well, if it is a Ford or Workhorse chassis, I'd check out the Ultra Power from Brazils or Redlands... From what I've seen of it it is as well made as the others (likely better than some but I've not seen them all) and lower in cost.

My neighor bought a used track bar but can't get the bolts in the rear end to loosen. Seems like they may have Locktite on them and need a little heat so they will loosen. What's the best way, he's afraid he will break the bolts off.

Some loc-tite needs a little heat to release. Try soaking them with a good penetrating oil overnight.

I made this one out of spare parts. It made a great improvement in the handling and stopped the tail wagging when the big trucks went by. It's a must do project, you won't be disappointed.

Thank you for your replies.
I have soldered a bunch, can solder with just about anything hot. While I worked at an alarm company I have soldered with a Bic on overhead wires(not power lines) at -20 degrees.
But I have never welded or brazed. But I have at least 2 neighbors that could do it. I'll see what I can find out.
