Relays

I have a 2000 Georgie Boy 3515 DBL SL on a Ford F53 chassis. The Ford fuse block on the drivers side has three identical relays across the top of the block. The left and right ones are for the left and right turn signals. I am trying to determine what the middle one is for. The F53 manual fuse block diagram labels it "dome". I am not sure I have any "dome lights" in the traditional open the door and light comes on sort of light. Does anyone know what GB normally ran through this relay if anything?
Thanks

Odds are very good you **DO** have a "Dome" light.

On the dash is a control that adjusts the brightness of the dash lights .. Turn it to full bright and you should hit a "Detent" Turn through the DETENT and you may find a light that comes on.... That is your "Dome" Light (note quotes on Dome), NOTE: on my coach there is also a switch on the light that has to be one.

Page 2:

Ford supplied the relay.. The light, itself, is provided by the body builder so there is no guarantee you got one.

On my dash there is a switch labeled overhead light. It controls a light in the ceiling directly over the dog house, it has two 2" square lights that swivel similar to what some cars have for dome light.

Thanks

Appreciate the comments from both. I will check. The reason I asked is that the middle relay becomes very warm and my battery has drained dead. I think the two are related. If that relay is just the light I can just pull the relay until I have time to track down the cause.

Check the light in the engine compartment. It may be controled by the switch that has the detent. Ihad this happen to me.

Thanks for the suggestion Chuck. I will check it out. Yesterday was the first chance I had to spend the day with it since I bought it in July. Gave it a good bath and was able to check out most systems. I checked battery current flow with everything off and had about 4.5 amps. Pulled relay and it dropped to less than 40 mA. That was good.
I was a little embarrassed to find I had accidentally left the panel dimmer switch in the full on position. Turned it off and put relay back in. No more drain. But I looked all over the cabin and could not find a light that I can control with that switch. I had not thought about an under hood light. Will check it in a couple of weeks when I get back from business trips.
