Any one know how to remove the cable from the speedometer inside the dash? I need to work on the instrutment panel and it would be alot easier to remove the cable to get to stuff behind the panel. Motorhome is in the sig.

If it's a class C with the Ford cluster, all you have to do is unbolt the cluster, move the cluster out a few inches, and push the retainer clip back with your fingers. It'll pop loose, and the cluster can be pulled out far enough to get the electrical plugs off. You will have to remove the garnish around the cluster first, of course.

There are 3 common attachments.. TMH462 described one

Another uses a "Squeze to release" plastic latch

The third is a screw on (like a coax connector)

Use a mirror and inspection flashlight to figure it out would be my suggestion

(Do as TMH suggested to gain access to see)

IT is a class A
It does not unscrew
It has a plastic ring, must be squeeze, will try that tomorrow.
