Yep, flooded wet cells are considered hazardous, and can't be shipped by UPS or FedEx......however AGM type batteries are sealed and don't leak, so they CAN be shipped UPS or FedEx.
I got my Lifeline battery (60 lbs) delivered to my door by FedEx.

Got it installed with Dave's excellent help on Saturday.
Noticed immediately how much quicker the steps operated in.
Thanks Dave!!

Thanks for the report back, Kent.
We're on our OEM battery. But we're also on OEM tires. If I've got any $$ left after replacing 6 of them this spring, I'll test our chassis battery.
I do have a question, though. Because we're in OH & only use our coach 6 months out of the year, & only then for a handful of weekends & 2 week+ long vacations, would the battery still have a good amount of life left? Or, because it sits half the year & during RV-ing season it isn't used all that much, sitting is bad for it.

I was wondering if he got the BXT65-850 which I believe is bigger and better than the 27 series battery. I think that was the OEM BCI battery also.

Its a Motorcraft BXT-65-850 the OEM was a BXT-65-750
The new battery has a longer reserve minutes life and increase from 750 to 850 CCA. 36 Month full replacement warranty and 100 month pro-rata warranty.
