Does anyone know the location of the ALDL (assembly line data link), the connector where a scanner is connected on a 2001 Ford 20,000 pound class A chassis? The motorhome is a Dolphin by National and belongs to a friend of mine. The V10 engine has a random misfire that I believe is a ignition coil or spark plug boot failing. I want to use my scanner to locate the cylinder(s) that are missing.
The connector is not under the dash, around the engine, or in front of the radiator.
Is there a connector on this chassis?
I would appreciate any information that you have on this connector or if it exists.
Thank you!

I believe that the connector should be on the left side of the steering column under the dash, although it has been put on the right side. The OBD II or ALDL port can be mounted horizontally or vertically and may be a cover on it
