Steering Stabilizers.

Hi, new to the forum. Just bought a 1994 24' Minni Winni with 52k miles and find the advice very interesting and useful. I want to replace the factory steering stabilizer with something a little more substantial, but not ready to fork out the cost of a Safe-T-Plus yet. Can any of you give me some alternatives? Does Rancho or Explorer Comp make one? Appreciate any advice.

If it is on the Ford E-350 chassis here are heavy duty steering dampeners

Best approach to helping the Ford cut=away chassis is to add Heavy duty anti-roll bars with urethane bushings and Bilstein shocks.

My opinion of the SafetyPlus is that it is a crutch and mask the real problem.

We had a 1999, 31' Minnie Winnie and these mode made it drive like a totally different coach...no roll or bump steer and straigh as an arrow.

Also helps to get the front end aligned (coach loaded for normal travel) by an independent truck suspension/front end shop. Ford does not have clue on how to align these chassis.
