Sumo Maxim vs Kelderman vs MORryde

Hi, I have been reading just about everything that has been written about the Sumos, evaluated all the comments about the Kelderman suspension kit and lately got information about the MORryde RS (Rubber Shackle) s
suspension system.

SUMO Maxim: Made of microcellular urethane, the system is mounted like an air suspension without the pneumatic hardware.
It controls sway (so does the CHF). It also helps our big trucks to stay in line with the road on high winds or when semis passes us by (so does a steering stabilizer and trackbars). It adds confort in a debatable way by smoothening the felt impact of road imperfection.
The cost is about $600 per axel + installation.

Kelderman FRONT: It consist of a combination of better shocks than the OEM Bilstein shocks provided by Ford, plus air bags on top of softer leaf springs.
The cost is $2300 + installation.

Kelderman REAR: An airbag is inserted between one end of the leaf shackle and the frame.
The cost is $1800 + installation.

MORryde REAR only: Similar to the Kelderman kit, the air bag is replaced by a rubber shackle.
The cost is $800 + installation.

I hope this helps all those who like me consider a F53 a good chassis to build from but wish to add a little comfort to it's ride.

Thank you!
Here's my challenge: I think my '16 Miramar rides pretty well overall but what drives me crazy are the harsh hits on potholes, frost heaves, poorly done expansion joints.
No clear answers on how well any solution addresses those issues.

For the moment I'm taking a when in doubt, don't approach.

Just remember Sumo's are in parallel with the leaf, and therefore a helper spring. Kelderman rear and Moryde rear are in series with the leaf and therefore a tender spring. Kelderman front is in series like the Sumo but they also replace the leaf with a softer one.

Sway is reduced by stiffer suspension, sway bars make your suspension stiffer but only on uneven bumps, Sumos all the time.

I installed Sumo's on the front of my 26k f53 and didn't notice any degradation in ride quality

Thanks for the precisions

Hi Stuart W. You got a swaybar attachment that is unknown to me.
May I suggest you post this photo in the CHF tread and see what comments it will generate... just curious.

The front sway bar is on newer an maybe the header chassis. My 2012 20.5K chassis has the sway bar shown in the photo.

Sumo Maxim vs Kelderman vs MORryde

This not a stock sway bar. It is the Hellwig 7217 heavy duty 1 3/4 sway bar.
This is a 2016 F53 26,000 chassis
