Sway bar torque

Looking for the torque spec's for the sway bar bolts. This is for the bolts that connects the sway bar to the "down rods" that mount to the frame (bolt just under the screw driver in pic).

This is for a 2008 Newmar Canyon Star 3410.

I believe the instructions are to make the bolt tight but not to deform the bushing. If you tighten this bolt too tight you will tear up the bushing.

Good torque chart and you have to know how to read the class of bolt which is not difficult.

All the bolts involved with the F-53 chassis sway bar set up are 66 ft #'s. That's link bolts (shown in first post) and bushing mounts on the front axle and rear differential. It is advisable to add some blue lock tight as an extra safety precaution.

Gary CA, you are correct if there is no sleeve in the middle which prevents the bushing from being compressed to much. These type of bushings do (should) have a hard sleeve which prevents over compressing.
