Does anyone know what temp thermostat is used in a 1991 Ford 460. I believe mine is stuck open and need to replace it.
Thanks,

There are 3 choices, 160, 180 and 195 degree's.
If you have no special circumstances I would stick with the factory standard 180 degree.

Try this: 1991 Ford Parts

It looks like the OE T-Stat is 195°.

I took my Challenger to a local shop that said he could change the thermostat. He had the MH for a week. It cost me $700 to have the thermostat changed. He said he broke the bolts and had to drill them out. Spent 8hrs. on it. I think he saw me coming. I needed the MH the day he finished because I was heading for TX from WI. I have been informing everyone I know not to go to that shop.
