I really love everything about the new ACE line from Thor Motor Coach but the website does not specifically state what chassis is used. I'm also interested in knowing if I'll be able to flat toe my 78' Jeep CJ-5 ( 4,800 lbs.).

Here's the specs I've found so far:

That would be a 16,000 GVWR F53. Seems kind of light for a 30' class A. It's 1500 pounds more than a 30' Class C would have, but I can'y imagine it has very good cargo capacity (that large rear storage area couldn't get filled up!).

It would have a huge towing capacity with the right hitch though, as it has a 26,000 GCWR.

I had a chance to look it over... It's nice. I shouldn't have any issues pulling my old 1979 Jepp CJ-5. The pet dish is clever. I've dumped my pups food in the stepwell when I forget to put in up for travel.

I should be able to grab my kids, wife, New Newfoundland, CJ5, and head of to the Silver Beach off-road park.
