Trac Bar/Steering Stabilizer

Winnie 2013 37F in shop for Track Bar and Steering Stabilizer--having trouble getting the brackets to fit for the steering stabilizer. Does anyone know if there was a change from a F53 2012 chassis to a 2013. Called Blue Ox they did not know. Should not be this difficult-I thought

What stabilizer are you installing? I installed mine in no time, hardest part was running the wires to the dash..as far as I know the chassis did not change.

Gary,

From your Signiture it's same setup as you have--Tiger Trac and Tru center. it seems the dealer is having trouble getting the correct part. As a side note what Wires are you talking about? in 07 it was all mechanical no wires involved. Thanks

What problem are you having? I assume that the bracket your having the problem with is the bracket that mounts on the U-bolts for the leaf spring. Blue Ox shows that the bracket P/N TC5807 is for 2010 - 2012, no listing for 2013. Is that the bracket P/N you have? I would be surprised if Ford made any changes for 2013 chassis. You may in fact have a 2012 chassis.

tru center

the problem is that the dealer says the bracket does not fit on the 2013 chassis, I called ford and they said no changes from 12 to 13, and that I have a 13. Called Blue ox and they are in contact with the dealer. I have always used blue ox products and have been very pleased especially with there product suport. Hope to have some answeres on Monday

The bracket your dealer has must be the wrong one, I too used the bracket #TC5807, it bolts on with two bolts . The tru center you should have would be a - TC35160 - Tru Center Steering Stabilizer, 35 Inch, 160 lbs.
Is your dealer trying to install the bracket on the wrong side of RV, should be on the driver's side..

Good luck.......I agree, I would double check everything after...
Make sure they pick up 12 volt power from keyed side so the unit is not powered when you are parked..
