I'm a Noobie here with a 2008 Georgie Boy Pursuit on an F 53 chassis. I have searched the forum with no luck so maybe someone can help me.
I have a ScanGuage II with Xguage and I'm unable to program it to read the trans. temp on the coach.
I've tried all the codes from the ScanGuage website to no avail and I've also contacted them via email for help.
So far I been unsuccessful.
The coach is built on a 2007 frame so I suppose the V10 is also a 2007. Has anyone with the same year V10 had any success in getting the trans. temp?

Thanks, Mike

Gauge TXD RXF RXD MTH

TFT - 0 C410F1221674 46205160674 3010 000100080000

This is the code for the trans temp. If you have problems, go to this site:

ScanGaugeII - Trip Computers + Digital Gauges + Scan Tool Give them a call and the tech support folks are very helpful.

Good luck, Jim

Mike, sorry I can't get the column headings to line up with the codes on my previous post, but hopefully you can figure it out.

I had the same problem and did what Jim suggested. I called tech support and they walked me thru it. It was kind of complicated, at least for me.
Good luck
Tom

Thanks Jim and Tom: I tried the code but it didn't work so I'll have to wait until I can get tech support on the phone while in the coach.
Thanks again, Mike

Hey Mike, you're most welcome, I hope you get it programmed without too much difficulty, let us know when the TFT read-out is up and running.

Which protocol code are you trying to enter. The TXD code in post #2 above is for the Ford PWM protocol. My V-10 utilizes the Ford CAN protocol. Have you tried those codes?

I used the codes on page 4 under 'ENHANCED DATA" - Ford PWM which worked on my SG II--Here's the web page address: http://www.scangauge.com/support/pdfs/XGAUGE.pdf

Jim

P.S. I had the old SG II which I sent back to Linear Logic for updating so I could use the X-Gauge features.

Thanks for all the responses concerning my code issues. I have used all the codes available despite the fact that my system is CANSF and should run on the CAN code.
I can't get any of them to work but I certainly appreciate all the help I'm getting.
There has to be one out there since you guys are getting a trans. temp in your V10's from the year 2000 up until current.

Thanks again, Mike

Mike - Don't know what to tell you, my scangauge reads tranny temp just fine. I know there is a specific procedure to enter codes and it is easy to make a mistake on entering the complicated data so perhaps that is the problem ? I had a 2005 prior to my 2010 and they were both Ford CAN mode. Maybe you will have to send unit back for adjustment - I have found Linear Logic a very easy company to work with. Good Luck !
