I just found this site after being a long-time member of RV.NET. Nice to find such a professional site.
Here's my problem with my Four Winds Majestic 29R.
-My right and left turn signals work fine with the running lights off.
-With my running lights on, the right side turnsignals work fine but the left side turn signals stay lit solid, with no flashing.
-I noticed that my rear side marker light on the right side does not flash with the turn signals. Are the side marker rear lights supposed to flash with the turn signals???
-My left side rear side marker light DOES flash with the turn signals.
I am lost. I pulled bulbs looking for filaments shorting together and found nothing. Bulb sockets are clean and shiny. I looked for dirty grounds but all connections look good.. I followed the wiring as far as I could till they disappeared into looms and up into the chassis.
I would really appreciate any help you guys and gals can give.

If with the only the park lights on one is bright and with only turn on one is dimmer it could be the bulb is in backward. I know it is only supposed to fit one way but it happens.

Welcome to irv2 BuckBarker.
As to your light problem most marker lights do not flash on most coach's, if one were mounted on mirrors they would. The flashing one to rear left side may give us a clue, I'd check the wiring to it and the light thats giving you a problem, either poor connection or broken lead to multiple lamp, maybe right side for starters, you have covered the lamps and sockets. Have you tried swapping lamps that work with one that doesn't?

When you have a bulb with more than 1 filament, it is possible to get an internal short that will make troubleshooting very confusing. Try swapping bulbs from side to side. Sometimes an internal bulb short will provide a ground as well.

Ok guys, here is where I am. I took each and every suggestion and checked and double checked.
1. I flip flopped bulbs side to side, front and back and still no resolution. Bulbs can not be put into the sockets incorrectly.
2. I triple checked grounds, even ran separate grounds and still no resolution.
3. Here is what I don't understand. Because I think the flashing side marker light is somehow linked to my problem, I first disconnected the side marker light, no difference. I then cut the driver's side marker light feed and connected it to the passenger side side marker light. Thought for sure that would take the problem of that light out of the equation. Get this.....The left side side marker light STILL flashes. The rear side marker lights are now tied together. How can the left side flash and not the right????? There is STILL no difference. With the running lights off, all turn signals work properly except the left side side marker flashes. With the running lights on, none of the left turn signals flash.
Do I need an exorcism?

I agree with 007, the side lights should not flash. They should only come on with the running lights. The directionals Left and Right are independent. Is there 2 filaments on the Left side light? Did the lights ever work correctly? Is the coach new to you? Do you have a coach powered Toad lighting system?
The light that won't flash must be duel feed, Running Light and Flasher Power. But, how could this happen if it worked properly and you did not make any changes? A Toad lighting system problem could cause problems if a circuit failed.

I have had the MH for 2 years but never drove in the dark before a couple weeks ago so never had a need to have the headlights on.
Both bulbs, right and left have dual filaments. I swapped the bulbs right to left and had the same problem.
What I just don't understand now is, after I cut the feed wire from the left side marker light and spliced the light directly the the right side, the left side still flashes with the signal but the right side does not. I just can't wrap my head around that.
I know it is darn near impossible for anyone to diagnose an electrical problem over the internet, but I was just hoping that someone here may have experienced the same problem and had an obvious fix.
And no, there is no toad or toad wiring to contend with.

When the right side light is On are both filaments burning?
What is happening with both of the filaments on the left side?
Is the same filament on the Left side Flashing and then On steady, while the other filament is never burning?

Just an idea! When I first got my 2000 Adventurer I had sort of a similar problem. You might try inspecting the trailer tow plug receptical on the back of your coach. I had two wires inside that where shorting together causing my problem.

The mystery has been solved, kind of. I got to thinking about toad wiring, and although there is no toad involved, there was a situation back there.
On the rear of the MH is a box with push connectors for temporary connection of trailer wiring. Attached to the push connectors was a flat 4 connector zip tied to the bumper bracket. I disconnected the flat 4 connector and now all is working properly. Lights on or off, all turn signals now work.
I can only guess there is an internal short somewhere in the flat 4. All colored wires were hooked up to the push connectors correctly.
Now, back underneath to undo the temporary splices I made while chasing down this problem.
Thanks to all that assisted me!
