Do you have a generator and is it fuel injected? Fuel injected generators need a return line.

No tank should be VENTED today, because of EPA, but also moisture condensate contamination, life has taught us better practices. VAPOR RECOVERY/ CHARCOAL CANISTERS are used. If recovery lines are intact, then possibly tank was changed and this was return line from a diesel GEN? Or same tank used for gas/ diesel, and a cap was lost in your application? Another consideration if fuel spill/ fire risk in vehicle roll-over? If you cannot find a line to connect, try capping it?

Sorry, been off of the forum for a while and missed this. Recovery lines are present and intact. Flair originally belonged to my parents (they were also the original owners). They never had the fuel tank worked on. If there ever was a cap on this it was lost a long time ago. I ended up capping it with a rubber vacuum line cap and a small worm clamp. Filled up tank to cutoff, no leaks...

One thing I did learn about this fuel system - The MPFI system is a return-less system. There is a fuel line going to engine but no return line to the tank.
