you say there is power to cop, i assume this is 12v on red wire with key on, next step is to disconnect a cop and insert a noid light, crank engine. noid should flash indicating pcm is firing that cyl. u can check more than one, but if u hav one not firing check deeper. i believe the cam sensor supplies the fire signal to pcm on the v10.

The V-10 is known for burning out coil packs, but not all at once. Like hippy said, check for 12 volts going into the packs when engine is cranking and go from there.

sammy z, I experienced a situation where my engine would crank but not start. My problem happened when I was removing a plastic cover under the steering column mount and had to remove a small bolt where a black ground wire was attached to the mount.

When I replaced the cover I neglected to reattach the ground wire. Later I tried to start my engine, it cranked OK but wouldn't start. I then noticed the loose wire under the dash and reattached it to the mount then again tried starting the engine and it fired right up and ran.

That's probably not what's wrong with yours, but it's worth a check to make sure that wire hasn't come loose. Not sure what component it grounds, but it's critical.

I wish you luck in ferreting out your problem and do let us know the fix.

Jim

I know you said you had fuel, but were you ever able to check fuel pressure at the fuel rail, and is there any way you can get close to the fuel tank, have someone turn on the ignition and listen to see if you can hear the fuel pump running??

Sure don't envy you trying to find the problem, it'd drive me bonkers. Hang in there and good hunting...
