I'm not sure, gonna do some research in the next few days. Three sensors indicated the speed and one sensor didn't indicate anything. I'm familiar with aircraft anti skid systems but not truck/car ABS systems.

16,000 and 18,000 lb Ford chassis only have a three channel ABS. The heavier chassis have a four channel.

Heck I wish I could get 7 mpg. The best I have ever had is 6.5 mpg and that was downhill with the engine off! LOL.
Seriously I get around 6 mpg but i don't drive like a little old grey haired lady. I drive like a big old grey haired man. My MH handles so well I have to be careful. 75 feels like 60 did in my old MH.

We drove our RV 265 miles, all interstate, last week, and one of us drove the car instead of pulling it. My wife drove the RV down, probably at 65. I drove it back at 70 and 75 with short stretches of 80. Average for the trip was 8.59.
Based on the posts in this thread, I've decided to be very happy with the 8+ we usually get pulling the car.
And the best way to improve mileage? Drive the car instead of pulling it.

For any of this information to be relevant, more facts are needed: I'll start, I have a 37'10" foot, 12'8 inch tall,23,000 pound, 2016, 26k, Newmar class A, 3710 with a 6spd. I have gotten as high as 7.8 not towing and as low as 6.5 towing my 2,000 pound motorcycle trailer. I have also gotten close to the 6.5 with a strong headwind not towing. As stated by the last poster, 70-75 with an occasional 80 is common. Not to mention hills and direction of the wind also being a variable.

Good point. In 1986 I started with a 23 foot Toyota Dolphin by National RV with a 4 banger that got 10 to 15 mpg, but only enough power to tow the rear bumper on long grades. Topped many a long climb doing less tha 15 mph. I'm now on my forth V10, starting with the early version in a Coachman Class C with mpg in the 10+ mpg range and now on my 3rd out of 4 Class A units with the Ford V10. I constantly fretted about gas consumption. I used to check mpg at every stop, the wife would do the math after each fill up and I'd actually get upset if I forgot to write down the mileage at the stop. Fast forward to today with an Itasca 35F, loaded as if every trip was going to be a full time excursion, I checked the mpg on the first trip towing the 2013 Focus on a dolly and one not towing as the wife played chase because it was a short trip and I have not checked it since. On the then, brand new engine, I got 6.8 towing and 7.4 not towing and I drive with cruise control set at 62 to 65. I bought the Itasca as a "luxury" leisure vehicle, not an economy car.

7.5 is pretty average. My 2015 gets 6.5 while my old 2001 gave me 7.8. Don't believe anyone who says he gets 10 or 12 mpg. It's BS. RV owners are like fishermen. They lie about the size of the fish and the mpg of their motorhome.

7.5 to 8 is about the average been as low as five in a direct head wind.
Pushing a 20,000lb brick through the air 7-8 is about as good as it will get

I have a 30ft Monaco, 2006 so with the "new" V10, full powerbanks. I made 13865 miles with 1878 gallons, so an average of 7.38MPG.
This includes ~120hours of genny so this offset the overall a little bit, let's say I used 100 gallons of gas for the genny, it would make the real MPG ~7.8

Just got back from my first trip. Driving 2017 Minnie Winnie 26A with a 4500lb trailer w/ racecar. Kept it to 60-65, 60 while in California.
First tank with all the southern Oregon/norcal hills both up and down, 8.5mpg
Second Tank a little leftover downhill then flat California, 9.3mpg
Third tank 10h of generator, all the uphill coming home, 7.4mpg
Last tank was the downhill side then flat, but was running 65, (haven't filled yet, will update)
Overall I was super happy with the mpg considering I thought we would see like 6-7 with the trailer.

Thank you, this supports my earlier point on weight, your motorhome is 1/2 the weight of mine, lower to the ground and 11 feet shorter, with the same size engine so yes your mileage would be expected to be better than my 6-7.8 range. It is important to qualify mileage results as we are doing.

MPG in a RV discussion is always interesting... It was not even a consideration when I was looking to purchase and even now when I look at new ones to possibly purchase in the future. Everyone will get different results because no one drives the same vehicle, distance, conditions, MPH, etc etc. But for fun just run some numbers:
10000 miles per year @ 6.5 MPG = 1538.5 Gallons @ $2.50 AVG(unleaded)
= $3846/12 = $320 per month in fuel cost
10000 miles per year @ 8.0MPG = 1250 Gallons @ $2.50 AVG(unleaded)
= $3125/12 = $260 per month in fuel cost
So difference between 6.5 verse 8.0 = $720 per year.
if I need to worry about $720 dollars per year I probably do NOT need to own an RV.
JMHO and yes I of course I want to have the best MPG I can achieve but every trip is different and even every gas you put in the tank is different. It just is not a real factor in owning my RV or where I go with it.
Now if we were talking difference between 6.5MPG and say 30MPG That would be significant, but I doubt there will ever be an RV that is better than about 10MPG
Safe travels to all
