My boat gets 0.86mpg at 15mph (Ford 427s). Less with genset going.
So I'm ecstatic about the way my Ford MH sips gas.....

I've got a little ZRX1100 Kawasaki that's gotten a high of 56 and a low of 29. 29 was a lot more fun

Ditto .... They can claim it but I will never believe it no way 9 or 10 MPG.
When they do real math 7's start using the generator a lot and watch those numbers hit 6's

I'm happy with mine getting 6.5 to 7. Had a drag car that used to get 1.7 gallons to the quarter mile.

I'm with you there!
If I could break 1mpg on my boat I was thrilled!
7mpg on the RV isn't even an eye blink.

This will be the first ford motor home for me . Had a 94 Flair , P-30 , tbi 454 it averaged around 8-9 mpg towing a Toyota Camry on a dolly. Then a 2005 Trail-lite 321 34 foot, 8.1 , workhorse w-20 , flat tow 1998 Jeep Cherokee still averaged 8-9 . DW passed away in 2011 so I downsized to a small fifth wheel. 34 foot triple slide towed by 2011 Dodge Hemi 5.7 best ever mileage hit 10 mpg downhill! Got a new DW and we now are the proud owners of a 2005 Southwind 32 VS on the ford F-53 chassis. First time ford owner so it will be interesting to see how this compares . Local use it seems much more stable in the wind. Definitely there's a big power difference from the 8.1 . We will be towing a Jeep Liberty flat and running the genny as we are both on oxygen. Efficient to use the concentrators and the roof air. Heading out to Minnesota and Wisconsin this summer so we will see . The big challenge is Wolf Creek pass. The old ones were 25 mph. I really don't worry about the mileage except when we take a road like hwy 50 across NV . Deserves the name " loneliest road in America ". Happy Camping ⛺️

For almost 3 years, I drove an M60A1 tank in the Army back in the 60's. The mileage was rated at 2 gallons per mile (diesel) so I'm happy with my 6.5 to 7.5 miles per gallon in my RV.
I'm just glad I didn't have to pay for the tanks fuel. Oh wait! As a taxpayer I guess I did.

Hey, I chipped in too, and I didn't even get to ride in the tank

When you think about it, the difference between 35 and 21 mpg over 1000 miles, the difference is roughly 20 gallons.

But the difference between 6.5 and 7.5 mpg in an over 1000 miles is also about 20 gallons.

Still yet, there would be a very low limit on what I'd be willing to spend improving it that would ever pay for itself. Since the day we brought ours home we've averaged 8.2. That's every mile on the odometer divided by every gallon of fuel. Based on what I've read here. I'm tickled.

We recently took a 1200 mile trip to Chattanooga with friends and ran Tow / Haul mode full time, ran cruise control on 68 most of the time, and our mileage improved
