Weird Coolant Leak

I just purchased a Newmar Baystar 3202 F53 6.8L V10 the I removed the doghouse and at the front right side of the engine bay there are two y connectors for the front and rear heating cores there are six stainless steel hose clamps on the two connectors one was leaking badly I tightened it. I ran the engine until it reached full operating temp then rechecked for leaks all was dry. I checked again four hours later and still dry. Next day I checked again and there was a small leak I tightened it much tighter and repeated the same procedure. The next day one of the other connections was leaking so I tightened all the hose clamps with ¼ drive socket really tight. Repeated running it up and checking all was dry next day another small leak. I can’t tighten them any tighter and I don’t know what to do. They do not leak when hot and there is pressure they only leak overnight when it is really cold 32 degrees. I would appreciate any suggestions as I am out of ideas. I have ordered a new coolant recovery tank 15psi cap. I am driving to Mexico in a few days would be nice to sort this put before I go!!!

OK...Try to find constant torque clamps mfg by Breeze (they are made in the USA.)
(Be aware that I have found counterfeit ones that had the brand Breeze mis-spelled or they were missing the USA stamp..
They ARE NOT CHEEP! But they work very well and do not "strip out" as easily.

Bite the bullet and disconnect the fittings and inspect them. There may be a hairline crack hidden on one.

I'm also wondering about the tees, are they plastic or metal. Inspect, replace if suspect, trim back the hoses if possible, fresh clamps as mentioned above, you'll beat it.

When the cold temps arrive its not uncommon to find AF leaks when the engine is cold. Tighten the clamps before starting the engine. If that doesn't help then make sure your leaks are coming from the hose connection and not from something else. If its nothing else I'd inspect the fitting the hose goes onto and the hose itself. Perhaps the inside of the hose is compromised and allowing AF to leak into it when it's not under pressure.

This doesn't make sense...

verify that the leak isn't happening higher up and the droplets just runs down the hose and collects at the "Y" (tie a paper towel around the hose to catch the droplet if its running down the hose.

Are there any problems with the "Y" connector, cracks.

Are the hose ends ok. Sometimes if the hose end is suspect, cut the end off about an inch back, then push the new end back onto the "Y".

Your worm gear connectors aren't optimal, but should serve the purpose just fine, snug them up good.

Clamps of any style shouldn't need to be really cranked down to seal and retain properly. Extra tightening just damages hose and clamp, as well a brittle Y connector.

SUSPICION WOULD BE THAT THE RUBBER HOSE IS deteriorating, or the fittings (metal or plastic?) have an issue/ corrosion buildup that is preventing a proper seal?

Don't see the year of your coach, if it's over 5 years old may be time to replace all the coolant hoses. If 10 years old it's a must. Hoses may look good on the outside but the inside is deteriorating.

Good reminder for me. That's been on my to do list for over a year. Now that I am up to it I just have to get familiar with getting to top hose.
