What year was the V10 and Trans. upgraded?

Looking at used Sightseers from '03 to'06. I understand that Ford upgraded the V10 and Trans. somewhere around these times. What year did that take place and what were the changes? Did the changes improve performance, etc.? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth spending more money to get a coach with the upgrades?Thanks

I believe 2004 or 2005 they went to the 3 valve engine 362 hp and the Tow- Haul trans. Great combination. I love my 2007 with 2006 chassis 30B.

I think it was the 06 model year that the F-53 got all it's upgrades which was a new in 05 chassis.

Yes the upgrades are worth it.

It was 06 chassis year, not the motorhome manufactures year. Most manufactures use up what they have in invetory first. I have a 07 model motorhome with a 06 chassis. link below
