I have an F58 chassis v10T 2001.
It is wearing a Rexhall Body

I have had this tic tocking coming from behind the fuse panel under the daSH next to my Lt foot area .
It only does it when the coach is parked and engine not running.
The tick tocks are about 1 sec apart .
Sometimes it will sit there doing it for hours or not doing it for days.
It does this even if coach and engine batt are disconnected.
I suspect it is linked to the intelitec Bd2 batt disconnect panel next to the entry door.
I ve taken it to a couple shops, but they never heard the tic toc while they had it. Typical.

I called Rexhal and they werent sure over the phone, but thought it might be one or both solonoids behind the circut board,so I bought a couple just in case it failed I could maybe minimize my down time.

Anyone had any experience or knowledge of this issue before?

Any ideas?

Are you plugged into shore power when you hear the clicking?? It could be the isolator relay cycling in & out as when voltage from a charging source reaches approx 13.2v it closes and sends a charge to both the house & chassis battery.

If the DC voltage is fluctuates between say 12.9 & 13.2v the relay will cycle closing and opening the circuit thus the clicking sound.

The other possibility is the isolator relay may be going bad.

We have the Intellitec Battery Control Center on our coach and I just recently had to replace the isolator relay on ours.

Good luck and let us know what you find

This might sound a bit dumb, but sounds get reflected all over the place and might not be coming from where you think. We had an annoying tick-tock, at one-second intervals. It was only audible when we were docked and seemed to be coming from under the dash.

It turned out to be from the battery powered wall clock (analog display) mounted above the entry door and was the mechanism driving the seconds hand. It's still there and still irritating, but we've learned to live with it.

Hmmm that makes sense. Of course most any explanation regarding electronics is likely to make sense to me. Is been awhile since ive paid detailed attention to it as Its been going on for years .As i recall it it stopped "mid click" the engine couldnt be started. But wait,Ill have to try it out in a few days when i can make the time. Ill either find my detaild symptom list I have logged or just make another one, either way, then Ill be able to discuss this a little more intelligently. Thanks for your reply
