Which wheel simulators are these?

Yet another wheel simulator removal thread. I think these are Dicor, but they have a notch not a dimple. Do the notched ones pull off or screw off? Have a stuck valve stem and need to get the simulator off.

With the center star pattern it looks like a Dicor product. One or more of the lug covers should pull off, exposing a half lug holding the cover in place. Often a rubber covered pair of lug cover removers is used to pull the dimpled ones off. The others are not removable.

Yes, they screw off. Just took a lot of force. All fixed now.

mine just come off like a car hub cap

Front and rear. No need to mess with the fake lug nuts. Look on their website.

We had them (screw off) on our 1999 Dutch Star and have them on our 2014 unit. The 1999 was right about the time of the first F-53 chassis used on RV's.

I have heard several discussions concerning exactly when the F-53 chassis came out or was used as an RV platform. Our DS was a 1999 so some might assume that the chassis was a 1998. Then I heard that Ford didn't have a 1998 chassis and the 1999 was the first. I guess it matters not but some who may know this stuff will probably set the record straight.

OK then , there could be differences , gas chassis brand and diesel , so no specific year; just to add to the confusion.
My 99 Freightliner and my B-in-L's 05 Workhorse , both have the pull off style.

Have to try and remember the - vs the o for future questions that crop up.

Recently I lost 2 of those lugs.

The lugs with that line should screw off.... My coach came with a special (cheezy) lug wrench just for those lugs. There are three that hold the wheel simulator in place. The other lugs are permanent facade covers and remain attached to the wheel simulator.

These guys helped me with matching my replacement lugs. They looked just like yours in your pic. They referred to them as "jam nuts"

They were most helpful determining which style and size I needed.

Highly recommended

We handled everything using email with pics...

good luck!
