well technically mine is on a Ford Chassis. but its a truck chassis.
Not if you want to count it but here as the specifics
1994 F74 F-700 5.9 Cummins 6sp stick shift 120,386 miles
I bought it with 107K , turned up the injector pump installed a performance muffler
Swapped the Eaton 5.29 spring axle for a Rockwell 3.58 air ride axle.
added a lot of sound deadening material to the cab.

They did find a coil that was occasionally missing but when another miss showed up at approx. 155,000 the technician showed me how easy to change them and how easy the plugs were to get out that I will do it if it happens again. I was told by a Ford tech. this V10 was a extremely reliable and tough engine. I believe him.
That is why I asked. I am a big fan of the Ford chassis. I hear people bashing the Ford and most have not had a problem. I have put over forty thousand miles on my 1999 and have had zero problems. Of the hundreds of customers I had with the V10 chassis, None ever had a single spark plug failure. The #1 complaint is downshifting on small hills. This is true and can be fixed by the 5 star tuning and Banks system. #2 was the harsh ride of the slat springs. This can be fixed with the Ride Rite airbags.
People should put things in perspective. For every million V10 engines built, if 1,000 failed that is only 1 percent. That is a very, very low number.

Good news....

Well, this is a REFRESHING thread! When reading this and other forums, one can easily get the idea that owning a motorhome is fraught with problems after problems. I suppose that's because people are more apt to post about problems (usually seeking advice) than posting about something good happening. My MH is on a Ford chassis with a V-10 (only about 25K miles...clearly not in the running for most miles). While there is no guarantee that something won't happen to the motor, transmission, or differential tomorrow, I'm now convinced that Ford makes a good, dependable chassis. Thanks for this thread.../ Larry

85,000 on 2001 F53. No work done on engine but a new serpentine belt is in the
works. Did have a remanufactured transmission installed just barely in warranty.
1800 hours on an Onan 4KY generator. Replaced starter and rebuilt carburator.
